[ English Version]

[ For some time I've been thinking of writing this article.

In fact, this article should have been written long ago, 2 years ago I can so to speak.

I had traced a goal, not to bring more personal items like this blog, but after a long period of reflection, I decided to post here and to document the record this event. ]

[ 2014 – The Year of Surprise

I was awarded by Microsoft as Best MSP Brazil due to my actions and events realized in FY 13/14, generating a good APP's mark and sent Lectures made.
As a reward, I was invited to visit Seattle and monitor the world finals of the Imagine Cup:. D <3

The questions that were in my head were numerous. (I? Cause? And the visa? I've never been in the US before, how about it? There will not be any Brazilian cmg? And my English?)

And if things were settling into the long-awaited day that my Journey. Thoroughly documented everything, but I will not say it here, just document what was most striking on this trip. ]

28/07/2014 – A Chegada!

Pois a semana seria punk. Bem puxada!

[ 28/07/2014 – The Arrival!

After exhaustive 20hs trip (Relying on connections and the like), I arrive at my final destination: Seattle!
I grabbed the first taxi I saw at the airport and I directed me to our lodging at the University of Washington.
I did my Check In at the university and went to the Lodge, where I shared a room with a South African very thin people, called Pivendren Naik !!!

This day was more to stay calm, take a deep breath, and accommodate me. For the week would be punk. Well drawn! ]

29/07/2014 – Next Day: Preparos para Imagine Cup e Conhecendo Seattle

[ 29/07/2014 – Next Day: Preparations for Imagine Cup and Knowing Seattle

After a decent night's sleep, I woke up in the morning, I have breakfast and meet my friends MSP rest of the world. Russia, Japan, Colombia, Philipinas, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Portugal, Turkey, ahhh how cool it is to make new friends, and my English tell by the way, it was much more fluid.

We gave a great back in Seattle, we know the local market, the 1st Starbuck, of course, talked a lot about the MSP program worldwide. Experience enriching. lol

Met the wall full of chewing gum chewed nailed the outskirts of the city and the first Starbucks (yes, Starbucks was born in Seattle)

After a MEGA back, we returned to the lodge and ended the day by discussing very new shares, and how MSP can transform people's lives.]

30/07/2014 – MS Corporation: O Grande Dia!

[ 30/07/2014 – MS Corporation: The Great Day!

Who here has ever dreamed of going to Microsoft's headquarters?

Me!!!!

In fact, my dreams involving Microsoft is something much bigger, but for a guy who left a peripheral region, with little recourse, have come to Seattle and be in the middle of people as competent and wise is already a good size.

But it does not stop there, the BIG day has come, and know the Microsoft Corporation, made me shiver at the grassroots.

We took a bus and went to the Build 92, where we go down and docked in long awaited and wonderful MICROSOFT CORPORATION! Seriously, out the side fan and enters a more sober view:

It's amazing! emanating technology around the corner. There pass people of all types and cultures, beliefs, perspectives, but all creation with a single interest: Changing people's lives using technology.

It's amazing how little things make much sense, and how great the work of those who are there.

After several talks, demonstrations and NDA's (which are currently not sooooo NDA's so) end the day with a feeling of having Zeroed Life. unique sense of who can closely follow, even for a short time, the work of people who do technology. ]

31/07/2014 – MS Corporation: O Sonho Continua!

Mais palestras, mais conhecimento e . . . .

[ 07/31/2014 – MS Corporation: The Dream!

More lectures, and more knowledge. . . . OPS pear, I'll have to speak at Microsoft Product Fair ???

YES! I had to introduce myself to Microsoft invited and present my work as MSP in Brazil.

It was a surprise and I was even afraid of my English is not enough, but everything went well !!!!!

We were invited to a meeting with the head of Microsoft YouthSpark program, and were also invited to participate in the program !!! I was very happy to do even more by Microsoft, and not only as MSP.

At the end of the day a reward: We won personalisadas backpacks Program, and other really cool gifts!

On the way back to the dorms, a stop in the lobby (which became our meeting point) to exchange ideas and then cradle that tomorrow is Imagine Cup!]

Me acomodeu e. . . .

Cutuquei. 5 segundos de apreensão, ele vira pra trás e diz:

[ 08/01/2014 – Imagine Cup 2014: A Magnificent Day and Magic!

Then comes the day, close to see the bigger WORLD technology competition! Thousands of people in the eye ceremony. media outlets from around the world covering, that atmosphere, that energy !!! WOW !!

We entered together with the participants and were cheered up by an audience enoooorme !! WOW what good energy!

Me and acomodeu. . . . Wait, who is sitting in front of me is the CEO Satya Nadella? Wow!

That moment of tension but also happiness, but a restlessness without size.

I thought: – Does he'd take a picture with me? Ahhh, obviously not, Satya Nadella? I never take a photo cmg.

Still, my conscious said give him a nudge and asks ué. hahaha

Lost shyness, after all it was the chance of my life there!

I nudged. 5 sec of apprehension, he turns back and says:]

(Satya) – Hello!
(Eu) – Hello Satya, How Are You?
(Satya) – I'm very fine, and you?
(Eu) – I'm fine too!
(Satya) – You're a competitor?
(Eu) – No. I'm MSP from Brazil.
(Satya) – Great! I Love Brazil.
(Eu) – Really? Oh, can you take one picture with me?
(Satya) – Off Course! Take me your Cellphone.

* Satya pegou meu telefone e ia tirar uma foto MINHA!!!! 😛
* Quando eu parei e disse:

[ * Satya took my phone and would take a photo MY !!!! 😛
* When I stopped and said: ]

(Eu) – No Satya! Not Mine. WITH YOU!
(Satya) – Hahahahahha. Okay Brazillian Guy, No Problem. Take this!

Microsoft! (Aproveitando a deixa, uma amiga do Equador (Tatty), encostou e tirou a foto conosco. Sem dúvidas, zerei minha vida! 😉

[ And then I got a legendary selfie with niguém unless the President of the
Microsoft! (Taking the cue, a friend of Ecuador (Tatty), rested and took the photo with us No doubt, zeroed my life;.!)

Already completely happy, we will award the final of the Imagine Cup.

Every minute, a winner was announced and the party grew! Several competing countries. Several interesting mega projects and the winner was Australia!

After the event, we return to the University, where we would have another surprise: A scavenger hunt for Seattle at the end of a wonderful visit to the Space Needle

We took a super around the city, learn about American culture, we went to the main sights of Seattle, phew! And the day ended badly.

We returned back to the University for a rest, 'cause tomorrow's party day !!!!! lol ]

02/08/2016 – Party Time!!!

[ 08/02/2016 – Party Time !!!

To top it gold week, TODAY is FEAST DAY!

And nothing less than the EMP Museum! Rock Museum in Seattle, where the Memorial is Nirvana and most other memories of several bands !!!

We went to the EMP Museum and there was a whole feast prepared for us, all released!

Anyway, there we could enjoy and enjoy the day, eating and having fun.

A walk through mudeu, and I saw some cabins with prontinhos musical instruments to be played, and guess what? We could play!

So now I produced a JAM with some gifts, and even recorded a video:]

[ After JAM, we went down to the main hall and we were listening to a local band playing until the end of the party, which would return to the University to rest and hit the road the next day. ]

[ 03/08 – Time to give bye to Seattle:

It was great to feel that energy! We took the picture and said goodbye, even if it's soon!

My experience in Seattle and Microsoft transcended all my expectations about what I expected.

No doubt an experience that will carry for life, and the friends I made on this trip.

I am very grateful to them all: Oytun, Tatty, Oscar, Quique, Duchess, Edu, Maria, Trisha, Cristian, Nina, Rumée, James, Michael, Gabriel, Joel, Saad, you are sensational.
